About Us

Background

Mangelsen Polytechnic Institute (MPI) is newly established constituent institute of the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT). MPI was established in 2022 A.D. (2079 B.S.) in Mangalsen Municipality -3, Achham district. It occupies the area of 41 Ropani of lands provided by community people free of costs. Currently, MPI has been operating only a long-term diploma level curricular programs: PCL general medicine. Likewise, we have plan to running different types of vocational training programs based on the need's assessment.

To become a leading polytechnic and remain as a top “Centre of Excellence” in producing competent health professionals in Nepal.

The mission

To produce highly skilled technical manpower, achieved by imparting high quality technical education and training by which individuals can achieve their intellectual, social and personal potentials. MPI is committed to developing human capital by sharpening creative thinking in technical knowledge, promotion of humanism and green TVET.

Objectives of MPI

To provide quality technical education, teaching & learning by providing effective, meaningful and current educational delivery in accessible and affordable manner.

• To fulfill the Government goal to make “Samriddha Nepal, Sukhi Nepali” (‘Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali’) thorugh TVET
